I like to wait until they're having a really good time, then I go and kneel right in the middle of all the action (pretty scary sometimes, haha) and snap pictures as they run in front of the camera. I've found it's easier to hold the camera steady and wait for them to come in front of the camera then it is to try and follow a pack of speeding dogs with the camera, hahaha.
