This book had me smiling as I saw just how well the author captured the characteristics of dogs. And not just dogs in general, but the specific characteristics individual breeds often have. It had me wondering if my dogs are up to more than I realize. ;) It'll pull you into a dog world you may have never imagined before.
I fell in love with some characters (Sasha, the Siberian Husky, being one of the many), while I disliked others. It pulled me in and had me wondering what would happen next, what would Casey learn and discover next.
This book made me smile and chuckle. It had me frowning at those frustrating characters, and it almost had me in tears with the important message it holds. It was truly a great book.
This book is fun, interesting, and different.
I'd recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good story with dogs and/or enjoys political thrillers.
Actually, to be honest, this is the first political thriller I've ever read, because normally that's not my idea of fun reading (sshhhhh)
, but this book was about dogs!
I had to give it a try, didn't I?
I'm glad I did, I really loved it. So, if you're like me and not so sure about the political part of it, give it a try! I think you'll enjoy this book.
P.S. If you add this book to your summer reading list (or have already read it), come back here and leave a comment telling me who your favorite character was, I'd love to know. :)
Note: I received this book from the author and was asked to read and review it. I was not monetarily compensated for this review. All opinions are entirely my own.
